LA LIGA's Nuestro futuro [ The Our Future Program ]

    The Our Future Program (Nuestro Futuro) is a free program that helps young students through tutoring, homework help, hands-on learning, cultural activities, and school mediation. Nuestro Futuro also helps students' English proficiency.
      The program also coordinates workshops according to Health and Family Life and Youth Development. We use a Health Educator and the program coordinator to provide information on various topics including illness prevention education and nutrition. Nuestro Futuro provides our youth with mentoring experiences using local universities and other organizations in the community.
     The Nuestro Futuro Program incorporates into its program cultural enrichment, historic heritage, and environmental education workshops. We utilize the assistance of members of the Hispanic community to provide information about the rich heritage of many Latin American countries. We have activities centered on holidays celebrated in other countries.   - Other activities are centered on art and music.
